'AGM Report:- Members were in for a treat with Pat Ollerenshaw's fascinating talk on Animals in War.  Pat talked about the role of pigeons, dogs, horses and mules during the wars of the 20th century. It was fascinating & humbling to realise how much our survival depended on their sacrifice.  Then followed an informative talk by Tony Boughton from Dorwest Herbs, who showed that tremendous care is taken to perfect herbal remedies for animals and how effective they can be. After the usual ample lunch, the business side of the AGM took place.

It was decided to set up a Breed Welfare & to that end the committee will ask Di Williamson for her advice at a special committee meeting later in the year.'

'Next Event:- We hope to join with the Briard, Bernese & Corgi  Clubs in a Match at St. Arvans, on Sunday, 29th October.  More details at  a later date.'
